Partnerships that Power Performance

Through collaboration with K3 Fire, Western Truck & Fire, and ATFS, The UHP Project connects innovation, reliability, and real-world results.

Advanced Tactical Fire Solutions

ATFS has established itself as a leader in ultra high pressure (UHP) firefighting technology, redefining how departments combat high-risk fires in the most challenging environments. Its flagship product, the BLITZ, revolutionizes modern firefighting by enabling safer, more efficient suppression from a greater distance—reducing exposure to heat, smoke, and danger.

Unlike traditional methods that demand close-quarters entry, ATFS technology allows crews to pre-cool fire gases and control conditions before entry, dramatically improving firefighter safety and reducing property damage. In industrial and hazardous environments, the BLITZ system delivers a controlled approach to suppression—minimizing explosion risk and ensuring faster, safer outcomes.

ATFS continues to lead the industry by pairing remote cooling precision with proven reliability, helping departments adopt next-generation UHP solutions that protect firefighters, save resources, and enhance response effectiveness.

K3 Fire

K3 Fire is an original equipment manufacturer and designer of innovative solutions for the fire industry. Our founders are three brothers.  Mike, Tom and Toby Kutrieb have worked together as a team in engineering, manufacturing and sales for over 25-years.

The Kutrieb family’s core aerospace business specializes in gas turbine engine development. Clients include Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell, Boeing and university customers at Stanford, Princeton, Ohio State, and the Naval and Air Force academies. A former customer at Tyndall AFB was doing research in ultra-high pressure firefighting, which ultimately led to the founding of our new company, K3 Fire, Inc.

K3 Fire’s compact new TurboDrive amplifier pump and TurboPierce products are powered by a unique water turbine that’s similar in principle to a jet engine’s power extraction turbine. Our water turbine design extracts energy from a fire truck’s existing hose discharge and eliminates the need for another small combustion engine. This engineering innovation is revolutionary in that it offers a fire department reliable ultra-high pressure capability for a fraction of the cost, size and complexity of currently available systems.
